Kangana Ranaut is at it again. The actor has now taken an indirect dig at reports claiming that Ranbir Kapoor will be playing Lord Ram in director Nitesh Tiwari‘s planned adaptation of the Ramayana. The Queen actor, who was last seen in the spy film Dhaakad, is awaiting the release of her official directorial debut Emergency, in which she plays the role of former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

Taking to Instagram stories on Saturday, Kangana reacted to media reports suggesting that Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana will star Ranbir Kapoor as Ram, his wife Alia Bhatt as Sita, and Kannada star Yash as Ravana.

Taking a jibe at the star cast, Kangana wrote, “Recently I am hearing news about another coming up Bolly Ramayana… Where a skinny white rat (so-called actor) who desperately needs some sun tan and conscience he is infamous for doing nasty underhand PR about almost everyone in the industry… known for womanising and drug addiction after desperately trying to prove himself Lord Shiva in a trilogy (which no one watched or want to make more parts of) has now grown fancy to be Lord Rama…”

Suggesting that KGF star Yash should not play Ravana, but Ram instead, she added, “Whereas a young southern superstar who is known to be self-made, a devoted family man a traditionalist also according to Valmiki ji description he looks more like Lord Rama in his complexion, demeanour and facial features… is offered to play Ravana… What kind of Kalyuga is this?? No pale-looking druggie soy boy should play Lord Rama… Jai Shri Ram ????.”

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt featured in Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva along with Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjuna. Ranbir portrayed a character inspired by Lord Shiva in the film, which also featured Shah Rukh Khan in a special cameo. Two further installments have been announced. Next week, director Om Raut will release his big-budget adaptation of the Ramayana, titled Adipurush, starring Yash in the lead role.

Kangana has a long history of taking potshots at both Ranbir and Alia.

vk758501 I too have a dream world of my own. I dream big, far and wide of the world that I live in. I am sad and afraid to live in such a world that is full of sins and negativity. I have a dream world where there is no violence, no hatred, no greed, but just peace, love and harmony. A world where mankind helps each other and is not jealous of each other, where people are not categorized based on their caste and creed, where there is no difference between the rich and poor, but rather considered as equals. A world where there is lots of fun and goodness and where it is safe for every human being who lives in there.
