Mohammad Kaif names three players who can help India to win ICC World Cup 2023

Jasprit Bumrah is working hard at the national cricket academy to prepare for the ICC World Cup 2023. Former India player Mohammad Kaif thinks Team India needs Bumrah to win the global event.

The pacer has been a sensational performer for the Men in Bue since debuting in 2016. He played his last game for the country in September 2022.

Kaif feels India will have an advantage over other teams due to home conditions. The cricketer-turned-commentator added that senior players like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma must perform for the sub-continent team.

“India have a good chance of winning the tournament due to home conditions. We have the players to lift the Cup again,” he said on DD India.

“The challenge would be to get all the senior players ready, fitness-wise and form-wise. Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will have to score runs,” he added.

He also spoke about the importance of Jasprit Bumrah.

“Bumrah is needed to win the World Cup. He has been a top bowler for the country. There are reports that he would get fit for the Asia Cup 2023. This is good news for the host nation, as Rohit Sharma has greatly missed him. India need him to win the global event.”
