Bigg Boss 18: Elvish Yadav slammed by media for his 'arrogant' behaviour, journalists boycott him? Here's what we know
Ahead of the Bigg Boss 18 Grand Finale, journalists were called for a panel discussion with supporters of the finalists. Interstingly, Elvish Yadav didn't even see the season, and yet came to BB house to support Rajat Dalal, and he arrogantly argued with the media.
Bigg Boss 18 will have its grand finale on Sunday, January 19, and ahead of the main event, the media was invited for an open panel discussion. Within a week, the journalists were called for the second time in BB house. The panel discussion was attended by the celeb supporters of the finalists.
Karan Veer Mehra was represented by Shilpa Shinde and Barkha Bisht. Producer Sandeep Sikand represented Chum Darang. Former Bigg Boss contestant Vicky Jain entered the house to support Vivian Dsena. Producer Ved Raj joined the panel in support of Avinash Mishra. Eisha Singh was represented by her brother Rudraksh Singh, and Rajat Dalal was represented by Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav.
As per the close sources, the panel discussion was much more than a heated debate, and Elvish Yadav argued and misbehaved with journalists. In the discussion, Elvish was asked to justify Rajat Dalal's winning chances in Bigg Boss 18. He was asked how Rajat will be a justified winner of the title due to his controversial background and criminal charges. Elvish said that Rajat has much more than the allegations and accusations. The discussion further heated when the journalists highlighted the topic of the media being blamed for spreadingthe narrative. When asked about journalists being trolled by finalists fans, Elvish slammed them saying, "Yeh sab paid media hi to hai." Without knowing the context, and without following the show, Elvish made such a big statement, and it made the journos furious. Even Bigg Boss Tak X handle also tweeted about the panel discussion.
Elvish said that the journalists are only 'supporting' Karan Veer, and grilling Rajat, Eisha, Avinash, and Vivian. When the journalists tried counter him, Elvish's arrogant replies fumed the media personnel further.
The source further said that a senior journalist said that they will boycott Elvish Yadav, and he was not questioned by majority of journalists. However, by the end of the press conference, a journalist asked Elvish why he blamed the media fraternity. He clarified that he didn't blamed the entire community, but a few of journos. However, journalists were unhappy with Elvish, and he 'arrogantly' didn't care to apologise.
Bigg Boss 18 will be having it's grand finale on Sunday, January 19, and you can watch the premiere night will start from 9.30 pm on Colors and JioCinema.
