Spider-Man No Way Home box office collection day 4: Tom Holland starrer swings past 100-crore mark in first weekend; on course to be a BIG HIT

Spider-Man: No Way Home continues to hit it out of the park at the box office. After collecting a phenomenal Rs. 33.28 crore nett on its opening day (all versions – English, Hindi, Tamil Telugu), the Tom Holland and Benedict Cumberbatch starrer posted equally strong numbers on day 2, Friday, a normal working day, with Rs. 21.14 crore nett  a dip of just 33%, which was exceptional, considering the insane hype for the movie, which would have made Spider-Man No Way Home extremely front-loaded to begin with. Then the new Spider-Man movie got a good boost on Saturday, day 3, and has now witnessed an even bigger jump on Sunday, day 4, to underline its long legs at the box office.

The day 1 collection had already steered Spiderman - No Way Home ahead of Avengers: Infinity War as the second-biggest Hollywood opener of all time in India, and with its Sunday haul, the movie, which also brings back Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, has swing past the 100-crore mark with easy in its first weekend itself (extended 4-day weekend).

Check out the day-wise box-office collection of Spider-Man: No Way Home below:

Day 1 (Thursday): ₹33.28 crore nett
Day 2 (Friday): ₹21.14 crore nett
Day 3 (Saturday): ₹26.85 crore nett
Day 4 (Sunday): ₹28.25 crore nett
Total (1st weekend): ₹109.52 crore nett

Mumbai, Delhi, UP, Punjab, Pune saw the biggest boost yesterday. However, collections down South for Spider Man No Way Home continue to remain on the slightly lower side due to the storm that Pushpa is raking up in those territories. The Allu Arjun starrer is doing pretty well in the Hindi belt, too, in terms of terrific occupancy all over, but due to limited screens and show timings, its business isn't affecting the new Spiderman film all that much.

Nevertheless, Spider-Man: No Way Home is on course to be a big hit at the India box office. The country has registered the fifth highest opening weekend for the new MCU superhero movie in international markets and it looks set to sail past the 200-crore nett mark in the coming days.
