Abhishek Bachchan grooves to Kajra Re with Nora Fatehi; fans miss Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Watch

Abhishek Bachchan, who recently attended the wrap party of his upcoming film, also starring Nora Fatehi, owned the dance floor when the DJ at the party decided to play “Kajra Re”. In the videos being shared online, Abhishek can be seen doing the hook step of the song with Nora and other attendees dancing alongside him.

Abhishek was dancing with abandon and it appeared that 18 years later, he still remembered all the steps exactly like they were done in Bunty Aur Babli. One of the fans called him “the original rockstar”. And other fans pointed out that they were “missing Aishwarya”.

Abhishek Bachchan famously danced to “Kajra Re” in the 2005 film Bunty Aur Babli with Aishwarya Rai and Amitabh Bachchan. It was the first time that Abhishek and Amitabh shared screen space and watching them dance together was a treat for their fans. Aishwarya had a cameo in the film with the song and this eventually became one of the most popular dance numbers of her career.

Abhishek and Aishwarya were not married at that point and fans did not even know if they were dating because they were often linked up with other stars. The original trio performed the dance number at the IIFA Awards the next year which became one of the most memorable dance performances of the award function.

“Kajra Re” was one of the biggest hits of the year. The song is composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and written by Gulzar.
