On Bigg Boss OTT 2, Pooja Bhatt says Abhishek Malhan represents ‘toxic masculinity and arrogance’
The drama inside the Bigg Boss OTT 2 is intensifying. On the latest episode, Pooja Bhatt and Abhishek Malhan had a confrontation.
On the latest episode of Bigg Boss OTT 2, actor-director Pooja Bhatt declared that she is disappointed in co-contestant Abhishek Malhan, and went on to suggest that he is ‘toxic’. Pooja was having a conversation with Cyrus Broacha, when she said, “I am very disappointed with Abhishek. He says something, does something else. At this age, he has all the answers. He has answers to questions which don’t even exist. It’s toxic masculinity and arrogance.”
Pooja added, “Abhishek needs communication skills, especially with women.” Previously, Pooja was involved in spats with recently evicted contestant Aaliya Siddiqui.
The topic blew up, when Bigg Boss gave the contestants a task where they were asked to advise a fellow contestant without sugar-coating words. Abhishek and Pooja took the opportunity to talk about each otherr. Abhishek said, “I would appreciate if sometimes you also try to understand the other person’s point of view. I feel you don’t understand other person’s perspective. I also feel you should take a stand if one person is wrong.”
Pooja responded, “Who are you? The personality that I have seen of yours in the house, I feel you don’t like women be younger or elder. You feel insecure in female authority. You never bodys hame anyone. You are a social media star. Be a role model. You are a good looking young man, your female fan following might get scared seeing your personality. I have no enmity with you. I want you to be the man who is appreciative of women and respects them. I have made some friends for life. I wouldn’t mind to make you a friend too.”
A teaser of the episode also showed Pooja declaring that she is not participating in the show to please her fellow contestants. Pooja was seen confronting Abhishek Malhan as she said, “Aap meri baat sunte one on one (Will you listen to me individually)?” To this, he said, “100%.” Then Pooja added, “Mein baith ke dosti nahi karungi kisi ke saath jo mujhe badtameez lage (I will not sit here and be friends with someone who is rude to me)”.
In response, Abhishek said, “Mere man mein jo hota he mein woh express kar deta hu. I don’t get it jab mujhe koi ye bolta he ki women ki respect karni nahi aati… (I say whatever comes to my mind. I don’t get it when someone says that I do not respect women)” To this, Pooja replied, “Iske baad mujhe kuch hai nahi ap se kehne ke liye. Mujhe popular hone ka koi shauq nahi hai. Mein people pleaser hu nahi (I do not have anything to say after this. I am not here to become popular. I am not here to please people).”
