Social media sensation Manisha Rani, who is currently seen in Bigg Boss OTT 2 won everyone's heart on the premiere night with her antics. The young sensation, in an exclusive interview before she went inside the show, talked about her journey in the industry, her family's reaction to her participation and more. Manisha also opened up about the comparisons drawn between Shehnaaz Gill, Archana Gautam and her. She stated that she liked both of them. I feel Bigg Boss is a perfect platform for me because the show gives us a chance to show our real personality and the audience actually falls in love with what we are in real life. And I believe the way I’m in real life, I’m very sure people will like me and give me a place in their hearts. Yes, I also read a few articles about people drawing comparisons between Archana Gautam, Shehnaaz Gill and me and they are comparing me with the two, so it builds a little pressure. But I am very happy to be compared with them as they were the stars of their seasons. In my family, everyone is very happy and everyone in the family knew that it was my dream to be a part of Bigg Boss. I’d been waiting to do the show from the time I watched Manveer Gurjar’s season 10, the commoners' season. I think it was in 2015 and I was fascinated by how a commoner participated in the show and people gave him so much love. And from the small town I belong to and the family I come from, it is a big deal for anyone to participate in Bigg Boss. My family is very proud and this is my first victory. (Photo: Instagram)

When I was a nobody and was making videos for social media platforms and was just starting my career during that time a lot of people from the family, relatives especially they would comment like “Arre Nachaniya banna hai kya? (oh you want to be a dancer).” There is no future and I got to hear a lot of negative comments, faced harsh criticism but I feel everyone goes through such challenges. But once my videos started getting popular and I started getting events and work, then people stopped commenting as they realised she is doing things on her own and we would not be able to do it. Now they are happy and are supporting me. But it doesn’t matter even if they don’t support me because they don’t have anything to say as I’m doing good for myself. (Photo: Instagram)

Yes, I’ve watched Bigg Boss but not regularly. I’ve loved watching Shilpa Shinde, Shehnaaz Gill, Asim Riaz, Archana Gautam. I loved how Archana who was not very popular amongst all the other celebs became a star of the season. I’ve packed clothes for 1 month and for Weekend ka Vaar I’ve hired a stylist who’s going to make me look good. Weekend Ka Vaar is going to be amazing because I’m taking along some stunning clothes. I’m giving my best for the show when it comes to clothes because in real life I don’t know how to do makeup. I’m learning especially for Bigg Boss and I’ll try my best to impress the audience. I’m single and single logon ka Dil khule sand ki tarah hota hai…. Jahan Jao chipak lo… if I find a good-looking guy on the show who’s giving me full attention, I will take all the attention. Hum saara line lenge.,, if I like someone I don’t control myself, Mujhse hota nahi… I’m very real and I won’t think ke reputation ke liye, image ke liye show ke baad mein karenge… I don’t think that much about life or tomorrow. If I genuinely like someone I won’t shy away.
