Bad Boy's Amrin Qureshi: ‘I get angry when people compare me with Kiara Advani’

Actor Amrin Qureshi is often compared with Kiara Advani for their similar features, and she has now said that the comparison makes her angry as she feels they are unfair. She wants to establish her own identity as an actor. Amrin makes her Bollywood debut with Rajkumar Santoshi's Bad Boy on Friday.

Bad Boy also stars Mithun Chakraborty's son Namashi Chakraborty in the lead role. The film marks the Bollywood debut of both Amrin and Namashi. Himesh Reshammiya has composed the music for the film which also stars Rajpal Yadav and Johnny Lever. The film released in theatres on April 28, alongside Mani Ratnam's PS-2.

Amrin told Aaj Tak, "I used to share my pictures on social media and someone called me Kiara Advani. It started and then everyone started commenting in a similar manner. People say I copy her. It did not stop there, even a few news websites addressed me like that. I would like to appeal to everyone, please stop giving me this tag (of Kiara Advani copy). I am still in the growing phase of my features and haven't got any surgery done."

She added, “Kiara is very beautiful, and I like her. But I get angry when people constantly compare me with her. There's a limit to everything. My target is to establish an identity of my own. I work towards it daily.”

Ahead of the film's release, Amrin talked about her debut at the film's trailer launch and said, "As a newcomer, it's my privilege to debut with Bad Boy and get directed by one of the greatest directors of the industry, Rajkumar Santoshi. I never had a second thought about signing this movie and I'm truly grateful to our film's producer Sajid Qureshi for giving me this chance. I hope the audiences shower immense love and appreciation on our film just like they've done on all our songs."

Nimish also shared his experience at the event: "I was blessed and destined to debut with Bad Boy. My character is a carefree bindaas character and I truly relate to him, personally. We have put all our sweat and tears into the film to bring a smile on the face of the audience and we hope they enjoy watching the film just as much we've enjoyed the making of it."

vk758501 I too have a dream world of my own. I dream big, far and wide of the world that I live in. I am sad and afraid to live in such a world that is full of sins and negativity. I have a dream world where there is no violence, no hatred, no greed, but just peace, love and harmony. A world where mankind helps each other and is not jealous of each other, where people are not categorized based on their caste and creed, where there is no difference between the rich and poor, but rather considered as equals. A world where there is lots of fun and goodness and where it is safe for every human being who lives in there.
